MLB.com Blogs Latest Leaders

Hope springs eternal in Florida and Arizona each year with the emergence of promising newcomers, and here at MLB.com our top blog for the month of February was the relatively new (and newly rebranded) Mariners front office blog, From the Corner of Edgar & Dave. Bryan Hoch’s Bombers Beat topped the Beat Writer blogs, while Rays Renegade one again has bragging rights among fans. Most popular MLB.com Blogs by page view from Feb. 1-29:

Kind of curious, anyone have any general idea how many blogs there are in the MLBlog Network? Just wondering lol

Congratulations to those of us who were fortunate enough to crack the Top 50 (my blog “You’re Killin’ Me, Smalls!” was lucky enough to land at #37), but in all honesty I’d like to tip my hat to everyone who is writing about the sport we all seem to love so damn much.

    Now..let’s play ball!

  2. Brewer Nation

Up to #11 for February. Obviously spurred a bunch by the Ryan Braun situation. Thanks for the reads!

Remember that my “Brewers By the (Jersey) Numbers” series continues until April 5th! Stop by and learn some things about the Brewers players that you might not have known!

Congrats to all on the list, and thank you to all who stopped by for a look. Things should really be picking up now with Spring Training in full force and opening day right around the corner!

Congratulations to everyone on the list! I am terribly excited about the Giants first Spring Training game tomorrow and equally excited to be blogging about real live baseball again. It’s nearly here! Cause for celebration, indeed.

YAY!! #20!! Don Sutton’s retired number! I look at numbers and I associate them with Dodger players. A friend gave me his number and I said “oh! it ends with Lasorda & Jackie Robinson!

Congratulations to all! and for those faithful that continue to blog!
Congratulations to my friend Jon Soohoo! He is the Dodger photographer. He came in at #12! Way to go Jon! Check out his great blog. He has been posting historical and present pictures.
Check out my last post which is a tribute to Dodger Stadium turning 50! Lots of pictures there from the first game at Dodger Stadium on April 10, 1962 to present.

    Mark,
Not sure I want to say “bragging rights”, but been lucky to have a good founbdation of commenters, page viewers and all around good baseball folks pass by my little niche in the wall. Again, thank you for everyone who has stopped, commented or even took the time to browse upon my sometimes unusual writs. Tomorrow (3/3/12) is the first Spring game, and I am so excited that April is about to knock on the door and present to all of us on MLBlogs.com and beyond, the 2012 MLB season.
Love being a part of this blogging community.
