Latest Leaders – August 2009

Latest Leaders in the MLBlogs Network by pageview, for the month of August 2009.

Baseball season is in its stretch run, and like the teams, MLBloggers are looking to raise their games. The four MLBlogs “division leaders” from last month were able to hold on to their leads, though there are challengers looking to unseat them.

Matt Holliday is now hot on the heels of Reed Johnson and Rick Ankiel for top honors among Major Leaguers, while PRO BLOGS Inside the Dodgers and The Baseball Collector blog are right there in the mix with the ever-popular SNY and YES blogs. T.R. Sullivan’s Postcards from Elysian Fields jumped up two spots to second among the beat writer blogs, just behind Bowman’s Blog.

For the fans, Jane Heller’s Confessions of a She-Fan remained in the top spot, with Red State Blue State right there. The big movers were Rockpile Rant and Latest Leaders newcomer Live, Eat, and Breathe Yankees.

Congratulations to everyone on the list!

Outside the Phillies Looking In

Is a September leaders post coming soon? Thanks!

Not that it’s a huge deal or anything, but the link to Red State Blue State takes the user to Jane’s blog, not the RSBS blog, FYI.

Mark, is there a problem with the MLBlogs platform? When I try to post, I can type a title, but I can’t write anything in the text box. I thought it was a system-wide error, but other people can post, and I can’t.

Congratulations to everyone on the lists! / ¡Felicitaciones a todos los que aparecen en las listas!

for those of you who have joined us on our baseball adventures, big thanks from me and Tim. hope you have enjoyed yourself along the ride.

I am hoping to get here one day! : )

Blogging is hit is miss, but thank you for boosting me into the Top 10 this month. I guess this month I can consider it a HIT.
A lot of new blogs and names showing up in the list this month, which is a great sign that writers are beginning to know who we are as a blogging community.
Congrats to everyone from the top to the bottom. Keep up the great job of making us think, laugh and comment, this is another thing that makes baseball so great!

Rays Renegade

#7!! I was in the low 30s last month. I am so happy to see my blog make such a leap. I hope more people stumble upon it and stop by to make a comment – I always appreciate the fresh blood and new faces. I’d love to still be in the Top 10 this time next month when we’re talking about the month of September. 😀

Hey! Whaddya know!? I’m really excited to be included on this list again. It means alot to know that people have tuned in to see what craziness might be going through my mind about my Rays on a particular day.

Great and humble thanks to all who have stopped by in the past. I appreciate it very much.
