niiiiice i made # 26 very nice

Oh yea, I forgot….Go Brewers!

I’m wondering if Cashman has the authority to open that Yankee checkbook to buy slots on this top 50 for Yankee bloggers. He seems to be able to buy anything else for the Yankees!

Cubs statue was in front of the NYSE this summer as precursor to collapse of the stock market…I won’t say anything else.

I like how you kept your distance from the Cubs statue of liberty:) —————–>Go Brewers!

Keep up the great work.

I’m Number 46!!! I’m on the Leaders for the first time!!!
King Yankees

Ellie — that’s cool, and thanks for passing along this URL at your blog…fired me up as well:

Homerfoodandhistory — glad you have your priorities in order!

MAX — deleted the internal dialogue but will follow up. Everyone keep hitting up

Hardball — keep commenting on other blogs, you’ll get there

Happy Youngster — thanks again for the help with my story recently. Everyone should read this post in case you missed it over the holidays:

Everyone — thought you might get a kick out of this since I blogged about it right before the All-Star Game:

To be totally honest I haven’t gotten hooked on the Hot Stove blog. I am more of a person that is looking for the offbeat wacky opinion than the hard facts and I get really annoyed my rumors. Once the trade is made of the deal is signed then I’ll care but hearing all the rumors that might not happen doesn’t interest me.

Darn finals! All I have to say for my drop from 8 to 22 to under 50. Having fun regardless.

good idea – thanks

Hey so Mark I have been thinking. Once the blog leaders for 2008 have been posted, I say the top five or ten (MLB Fan Blogs… maybe Pro) should receive “profile badges” that they can stick in their page’s header (like I have done with my ads). If anyone else has insight on this, speak it here. I think some kind of actual graphic recognition for those top blogs should be given out one way or another.

Up to #15 but I’m not satisfied. I’m still going to try to get to #1. Remember to stop by. Leave something and I’ll try to return the favor.

Still trying to keep everyone interested…#28’s not too shabby. I know, I know, it’s a Brewers blog…but the Yankees and Red Sox have enough fans! 🙂

Hey, Mark …

Good choices for the number “6”, especially, Stan Musial, one of the greatest hitters and players of all-time !!! … Numbers are such a big part of the game, and one of the many great things about baseball … We can all relate to: players, events, teams, records, etc., just by mentioning or thinking about certain numbers … So, dedicating my ranking each new list is a fun and exciting way to honor something special about baseball and the Yankees !!! … Mark, thanks for your comments and kind words; and, keep up your great work here at mlblogs !!! … Jimmy [27NYY]

s/b the opportunity, sorry

It’s nice to skyrocket!, but I don’t blog for the numbers, I just like to share my opinion, or vent. Thanks for giving me that opportunity to do that. : )

Wow, I broke the top 50 for the first time this week coming in at number 23! I love this community so much, I love how we support each other and how the quality of writing is really good.
Thank you all so much for reading my blog, I really appreciate it, it means the world to me. I hope to continue being up here 🙂

I was no where near it Mark..I promise.
After my cntest fiasoc last time maybe I put a jinx on the system by accident…………..We did take the devil out, and the wins came in.

I’ve been dethroned! I hope I can get back on top next week. Congrats to “The Number 1 Constant….Baseball” for winning.

Thanks Mark! there’s gonna be a lot of happy bloggers and commenters tonight!

Make that “being fixed”…apparently it’s in progress with a minor stubbornness. Bugs have personalities, too.

Update for everyone: One of the comment hosts was an hour ahead on our MLBlogs server, and that’s been fixed. So no one should have an issue anymore with commenting and a one-hour timestamp difference. Thanks for reporting, and thanks to our I.T. crew for finding that.

Jimmy, we always look forward to wherever you rank so you can write about the specific number! Good job on #6…but I would have gone with my man Stan Musial maybe or the middle of the sixth inning, which is where we picked up the last game of the latest baseball season. 🙂

bucs4life1, that was a cool comment and we appreciate it! It’s been a lot of blogging since Tommy saved the first-ever MLBlog posting at in April 2005 (see his archives).

Jane, you are so funny. Your blog is popular because you’re an awesome writer, and because you care about other bloggers as seen by all your comments! This place was hoppin’ on Thanksgiving. (I’m told.)

Darion, good job on skyrocketing. You too, Noni!

Ah, the She-Fan got us, probably ‘cuz I read her blog every day all day. Haha. Great company. An honor as usual.

Very cool how this community is growing and building each other up. Keep on with the great blogging, guys.

I would like to thank everyone for stopping by “The 1 Constant…Baseball” MLBlog and I hope you enjoy most of the content. I have a passion for the game and by browsing the other blogs I can see there are many others that do as well, great stuff. I will continue with the “Hall of Fame” discussion over the next 3 weeks and also the “Hot Stove League” which is and will be heating up. Also I have a new “Compare and Contrast” coming up in the not to distant future. Thanks again, I hope to read more of your comments in the future.

Great to move into the “Top Ten”, at #6, on the latest “Leaders List” !!! … I always dedicate my ranking on each list, in honor of something special about the Yankees … So, moving into the “Top Ten” deserves a “special dedicaton” … With that said, I dedicate my #6 ranking to New York Yankees, Owner, George M. Steinbrenner, III, in honor of the Yankees “six” World Championships won during Mr. Steinbrenner’s 35 years as Yankees owner !!! [1977, 1978, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000] !!! … In this Thanksgiving time of the year, I thank George Steinbrenner for his great leadership throughout his years as owner; I thank all who have visited and supported my mlblog; and, I thank all at for all their efforts and excellent work at mlblogs that makes this community a very special baseball site … Also, Congratulations, and Best Wishes, to all mlblogs on the “Fan” and “Pro” Lists !!! … Jimmy [27NYY]

Yee-ha! Very exciting to move up a notch to #2! Must be because people were away for Thanksgiving and I was the only one blogging .:) Congrats to everyone on the list. I’m looking forward to checking you out!

17! That’s an All-Time high!
Thanks for putting this up here Mark.
And Thanks for everyone who stopped by my blog.

Hmmm, I moved down to #31. But coming soon…the latest news out of Padres land…Khalil Greene has been traded!

burghblues yes let’s do the 2008 leaders! Soon.

All MLBloggers: Visit these Latest Leaders and leave comments with your full URL and you are guaranteed extra traffic.

Red Sox must be a pretty hot topic for me to move up to 11th.
Thank you , Mark that was without even being highlighted!

Hey, the new “kid” didn’t do so bad! Thank you to all who’ve stopped by, left comments and made me feel so welcomed here! It has all been greatly appreciated!

SWEET! Made the jump from 30th to 6th to 4th. Thanks for everyone reading up on baseball’s lovable losers. Mark, are you going to do a list for the leaders of 2008 at the end of the year?

Hey all,

Want to thank all of you who still come by and pop a line or two of comments to me every week. I might have dropped a few, but still cranking the blogs out daily for all of you to read.

Did alot of arbitration background and predictions this week, which tend to bore most people. But, hitting the good stuff this weekend and beyond. Tackling the new MLB Network, Winter Meeting next week in Vegas baby!!!, and maybe a story about a great book I read.

Thanks again all, and keep popping the page for me.
